Makerere Intellectuals Kampala (MIK) – Kasawo Campus is celebrating remarkable success in the recently released UACE (Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education) examinations. The school has once again demonstrated its commitment to academic excellence by producing outstanding results across multiple subject combinations.
Leading the pack is Wasswa Ashiraf, who achieved an impressive 20 points in BCM (Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics). His performance places him among the top achievers and reflects the strong academic support and dedication fostered at MIK.
Following closely is Kiyingi Nicholus, who scored 18 points in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics). His excellent results further highlight the school’s strength in science subjects and its ability to prepare students for competitive academic paths.
Several other students also performed admirably, with many attaining 15 points and above, a clear indication that high performance at Makerere Intellectuals Kampala is not limited to just a few individuals but is a culture embraced by the entire student body.
In total, 104 candidates sat for the UACE examinations at the school’s own examination center (U4273), and the overall performance has been widely praised by parents, teachers, and the local community. The achievement reflects the dedication of the teaching staff, the discipline of the students, and the supportive learning environment provided by the school.
The administration of Makerere Intellectuals Kampala headed by the school Director John Bukenya a Senior Lecturer at Makerere University congratulates all the candidates for their hard work and determination. Their success continues to strengthen the school’s reputation as one of the emerging centers of academic excellence in the region.
