At M.I.K, rewarding excellence is part of our culture. In addition to recognizing the best 10 students in each class from S.1 to S.5 with various gifts, we also offer bursaries to high-performing PLE candidates. This support helps outstanding learners continue their education with confidence, motivation, and focus.
Financial support (bursaries) at M.I.K. cuts across all classes, from Senior One to Senior Six and could be categorized as:
A. Full Bursary
B. Half Bursary
C. Quarter Bursary
Category “A” bursaries are given to P7 leavers who score between aggregates 4 – 8. For the rest of the classes (S2 – S4), a student should have As in End of Term exams and the A level should have 18 – 20 points. Category “B” and “C” bursaries are determined by the Office of the Director of Studies and Deputy Head Teacher in consultation with the Headmaster.
For new students joining M.I.K., we determine your suitability for financial support including weaving off tuition fees after studying your report card from the pevious school.
The school maintains an affordable and transparent fee policy to ensure access to quality education for both day and boarding students. Day scholars from Senior One to Senior Six pay UGX 250,000 per term, while boarding students pay UGX 500,000 for Senior One to Senior Four and UGX 550,000 for Senior Five and Senior Six.
At A-Level, M.I.K SSS as an institution offers a wide range of subject combinations designed to meet diverse academic interests and career goals. Science students can choose from combinations such as PCB, BCM, PCM, PEM, MEG, BAG, GEA, MEA, and PAM, while arts students are catered for through combinations including HEG, HED, DEG, HLD, LED, among others.
Makerere Intellectuals Kampala – Kasawo Campus is conveniently located off Kabimbiri on the Mukono–Kayunga Road, continuing through Kasawo Town and about half a kilometer along Kasawo Road, making it easily accessible to students from surrounding districts.
